Paediatric Renal Transplantation

The paediatric renal transplant service is based in the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Glasgow.  The service offers transplants for children with end stage renal failure which can  provide a vast improvement in quality of life.  The service provides transplantation from living adult donors who are usually a relative of the child or young person and following transplantation the service also provides the patient and family of the patient with follow up care including psychological support.
